There is progress in the work of the Joint Commission for Historical and Educational Issues between North Macedonia and Bulgaria, said some Bulgarian historians before today’s round of talks with their Macedonian counterparts in Skopje.

“The meeting has been going well so far. We have not finished the work yet, but for now it is good. There are steps forward, members of the Bulgarian part of the commission answered briefly before today’s meeting, which is the second of the five planned for this year.

Co-chair of the Bulgarian part of the Commission Angel Dimitrov, when asked if there was any progress at yesterday’s meeting, did not give any details.
