Political pressure and abuses of the police for election purposes in the last local elections are starting to come out to light, said VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Naum Stoilkovski.

This is a copy of a court document stating that one of Oliver Spasovski’s most trusted men, Vladimir Ristov – known as Kamenjar – the head of the economic crime unit, along with three other colleagues, created a police case and abused their position against a candidate for a mayor who is not from the ranks of SDSM.

Ristov, a well-known close associate of Oliver Spasovski, was convicted of negligent work under Article 353 of the Criminal Code.

“The document from the Basic Criminal Court Skopje proves that Oliver Spasovski is abusing his position and instead of fighting election irregularities, his people are working in a party direction to create pressure and create an undemocratic atmosphere for SDSM political opponents,” Stoilkovski said at a press conference.

“Even the exceptionally captured judiciary cannot hide the abuse of the Ministry of Interior by SDSM,” the spokesperson added.
