I think the call for a boycott was the biggest factor in the small number of our citizens registered in certain countries and we feel that during the Census, says Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, commenting on the difference in the number of people listed in the diaspora and those calculated by the number of nationalities.
“Even during the census, our diplomats informed us that the call for a boycott is yielding results, especially in Canada, the United States and Australia, and that, unfortunately, is reflected in the numbers we have,” Osmani said.
