At 1 pm on Thursday, the Serbian government is to make the decision to lift the ban on wheat exports in the country.

As the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupcho Nikolovski announced at a press briefing, he has already contacted the authorities from Serbia. As soon as the “ramp” is raised, imports can begin.

“The Serbian chambers say that it is about 100 thousand tons of wheat intended for our companies, and we had a request for 50 thousand tons,” informed Minister Nikolovski.
