The cost of living in March increased by 8.8 percent compared to March last year, and retail prices by 9.6 percent. Compared to February, there is an increase of 1.6 percent, and retail prices by 1.5 percent, the State Statistical Office announced Thursday.
The data show that milk costs increased by 7.3 percent compared to February, eggs by 6 percent, fresh and chilled fruits by 5.9 percent, bread and cereals by 5 percent, beer by 2.9 percent, oil by 1.7 percent, meat, mineral water, carbonated beverages, fruit and vegetable juices by 1.3 percent, coffee, tea, cocoa by 1.2 percent, etc.
There was an increase in gas for households by 8.2 percent, liquid fuels for households by 8.1 percent, fuels for vehicles by 6.1 percent.
