A new aid set awaits the economy from the new loan that the state is negotiating with international institutions.

At least 600 million euros are needed. The Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi announced from the spring meetings in Washington that a loan with lower interest rates than the Eurobond is being negotiated. The money will be used for business and citizens. Businessmen say they need the most funds right now to improve liquidity.

“We need to use those funds for the business community because they feel and cover the biggest burden of the crisis. Our hope is that the money will end up there, not for social aspects,” said Driljon Iseni, executive director of the Economic Chamber of Northwest Macedonia.
