I promise that together we will continue the fight for better working conditions, for the promotion of workers’ rights and for higher wages, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska told the trade unions on Sunday, at the Labor Day protest of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM).

Minister Trenchevska and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi were in front of the Government when the participants in the protest organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia arrived.

“No one should forget that the worker comes first, human capital comes first,” Bytyqi told protesters, stressing that the promotion of workers’ rights does not happen once and for all.
