VMRO-DPMNE started the blockade of Parliament on Tuesday, which means that all laws that need to be adopted will not be possible without the opposition party’s support.
This also means that SDSM alone cannot pass the laws put on the agenda, and for their voting will be needed MPs from the opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
The idea, according to the coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group Nikola Micevski, is to “prevent harmful laws and policies”.
VMRO-DPMNE announced that despite the blockade, the party will participate in the upcoming debate on the Budget Review.
The opposition announces that “anything that is harmful will be blocked.”
“There will be an active blockade to save from price shocks, a blockade of the criminal gang and the hypocrisy of the government, a blockade to save poverty. We will start with the Parliament because harmful laws are passed there. Everything that is harmful will be blocked, but there are also processes that need to flow on a daily basis. There is a budget review in which we will actively participate and we will say all the remarks and items through which they intend to empty the budget”, says the coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group Micevski.
