Anticorruption opens investigation into Kosta Petrov over funds given to publishing center “Tri”

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) has received a report from a well-known submitter against KostaPetrov, former director of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development (FITR), they say in a statement for Lokalno.mk from the SCPC. The commission explains that after the application was filed, a case was filed and it was assigned to work as a member of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the SCPC.

According to Lokalno.mk, these are funds given to the publishing center TRI DOOEL for a project intended for education for which the total budget is 7,249,159 denars, own co-financing is 2,174,747 and FITR co-financing – 5,936,000 denars.

The conflict of interest is in the fact that “Tri” publishesPetrov’s books.
