Skopje Mayor DanelaArsovska, at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle on Wednesday, participated in an event for the promotion of “Friendly Places for Autism”, organized by the Macedonian Scientific Association for Autism.
“The City of Skopje continuously works and supports important projects to improve the quality of life of people with autism and their families. We support projects for skills development for preparing children with autism for school, for conducting sensory therapy and treatment of children with autism from socially vulnerable groups, for early treatment as an important factor for better inclusion of children with disabilities, as well as for the Center for Early intervention. The projects are important and include the application of scientific methods primarily for education and development, as well as the treatment of children with autism from socially vulnerable groups,” said Mayor Arsovska in her address.
