Opposition VMRO-DPMNE accuses the Government and health minister of endangering dozens of lives – cancer patients were left without therapy for a month.
“Ninety patients who need biologic therapy for colorectal, ovarian and cervical cancer cannot receive the necessary therapy for a whole month. The patients did not receive therapy because the Ministry of Health did not announce a tender for procurement of medication. At risk are patients with lung, kidney and breast cancer, for whom the necessary therapy will be exhausted in the next few months. The Ministry of Health should not play with people’s lives and should immediately procure all necessary therapies, the opposition party said in a press release on Thursday.
