The Ministry of Economy has already proposed to the Parliament amendments to the Law on Trade which allow work on Sundays and holidays of all retailers and wholesalers in tourist destinations, determined by the Law on Tourism, said Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi during Sunday’s visit to the Ohrid-Struga region.
The workers in the businesses that will work on Sundays will receive a daily wage higher by 100 percent, and the rest in the activities determined in accordance with the Law on Labor Relations will receive daily wage higher by 50%.
