The scandal with the delegation welcomed by Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi in the Macedonian Parliament, which included Chechen politicians, former members of the Russian Duma, opens a series of questions, which unfortunately remain unanswered, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Dragan Kovachki.
“Talat Xhaferi is silent, SDSM is silent, Kovachevski is silent, the Government is silent, President Pendarovski is silent, the competent security institutions are silent. Is it normal for a NATO member to have a meeting between the Parliament Speaker and a person Abdul-Vahed Niyazov, a former member of the Duma and founder of the Muslim Association in Support of President Putin? This person has a potential security risk and therefore we need answers on how, why and who allowed such a meeting, what was discussed at that meeting and whether Xhaferi informed the security services about this meeting,” said the opposition MP.
