President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia Darko Dimovski says that the country with a loan of 900 million euros from the International Monetary Fund will have the funds to increase the salaries of 2,806 denars for all public sector workers. With the loan of 900 million euros, according to the SSM leader’s calculations, an additional 30 million euros should be set aside for the workers.
The union leader during an interview with the “Studio 10” political show on TV24 said that he did not see in the budget review additional funds to increase all wages of workers, although it was agreed after six months, i.e. starting September 1, to increase them linearly and in solidarity with the Law on the minimum wage.
