After Monday’s meeting of the Head of State Stevo Pendarovski, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi with the Head of the Constitutional Court Dobrila Kacarska to block the election of four constitutional judges, today the authorities confirm that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow the election of constitutional judges will be on the agenda of the Parliamentary Commission on Elections and Appointments.
“The election of the constitutional judges will be on the Commission for Elections and Appointments tomorrow or the day after tomorrow at the latest,” head of the Commission Marija Georgievska told daily news outlet Sloboden Pechat.
According to Georgievska, the resumption of the session of the Commission for selection of judges was delayed due to the obligations of members of the Commission.
