Police cut off international drug transport channel worth EUR 300,000

On Tuesday(31.05.2022) in Prilep, the Ministry of Interior, namely police officers from the Department of Criminal Police – Sector for Illicit Trade in Drugs, Weapons and Dangerous Substances, Special Anti-Terrorist Unit “Tiger” and SIA Bitola – OVR Prilep, carried out a police raid to combat illicit drug trafficking, in which an international channel for transport of drugs from Albania through the country was cut off, with the ultimate goal – the Republic of Greece, and about 86 kg of marijuana worth about 300,000 euros were seized. One person was arrested, the Ministry of Interior informed.
