The Parliament group of VMRO-DPMNE and the “Renewal for Macedonia” coalition submitted a request on Thursday to Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi to schedule an emergency session at which the laws that the MPs have submitted to Parliament will be on the agenda. These are the Draft Law on Amending the Law on Value Added and the Draft Law on Amending the Law on Excises, the coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE Parliament group Nikola Micevski told a press briefing on Thursday.

“We demand that this session be convened as soon as possible, given that each passing minute, after the Government decided not to extend the anti-crisis measures for the year and basic products, is an unprecedented Golgotha for the citizens. Our citizens are suffering. Our citizens are brought to a situation where they can expect someone to take action because with the situation in which the Government has put the citizens, they can survive for only a week, and not a whole month,” Micevski added.
