Western Balkans in the EU by 2033, the first step to be a decision in two weeks for North Macedonia and Albania.
“My message today is clear: in line with the set criteria, to offer the integration of the entire Western Balkans into the EU by 2033 – an ambitious but achievable time frame. And the first step must be a decision in two weeks in Brussels to unblock the road between North Macedonia and Albania,” Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis wrote in his opinion piece in Politico, dedicated to the EU perspective of the region.
