Macedonian Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska attended the campaign “Give a hand and change lives – become a caregiver!” organized by SOS Children’s Village in cooperation with the MLSP, the Institute for Social Affairs, Centers for Support of Foster Families , Centers for Social Work and Local Government.
The aim of the campaign, which started in early June, is to raise awareness of the importance of foster families and their role in society.
“MLSP through legal solutions, strategies, programs and activities works to create conditions for every child to grow and develop in an environment close to the family. The right choice of the form of protection for children without parents and parental care enables children to develop into healthy personalities, ready for the future,” the minister said.
