Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, during the talks with the smaller coalition parties – Democratic Union (DS), DOM and LDP on Sunday, gave his consent to the modified French proposal to be put to a plenary session, for the MPs to discuss it and for conclusions to be voted.

As Maja Morachanin from the House of Representatives told MIA, at the meeting they requested that the proposal go to a plenary session, and not only through the Government, to which Kovachevski agreed, but when that session would take place has not been specified for the time being, given that the smaller parties requested the publication of all documents contained in the proposal, including the protocol, the content of which is not yet known.

At the meeting, the three parties requested that all documents, including the protocol, be translated into Macedonian and published and made available to the entire public.

The three coalition partners told Kovachevski that it is unacceptable for them if bilateral issues related to history and education are part of the negotiation process.
