The Alliance for the Albanians announced that it will end the cooperation it had so far with VMRO-DPME, after the Mayor of Skopje Danela Arsovska on Wednesday fired a high-ranking AA official from a director’s post after the official’s brother participated in an armed incident in front of Skenderbeg Square.
“The contamination and metastasis of Levica in VMRO-DPMNE, the return of the common scenarios of DUI and VMRO as in the time of Gruevism, now with the support of SDSM, are easy to read and unacceptable for the Alliance for Albanians. We do not allow ourselves to be either a part or a victim of such scenarios. Similar to the other times, the Albanians paid this time as well. And the points are taken by DUI and VMRO-DPMNE. The Alliance for Albanians will no longer allow a return to the previous DUI and VMRO scenarios. As a result of the latest developments, we are terminating the cooperation with VMRO-DPMNE, we not allowing Albanians to be insulted anymore,” said the Albanian-Macedonian party at a press conference at the party headquarters in Tetovo.
