The Macedonian Energy Association – MEA at the Chamber of Commerce, assessed that according to the current energy situation, there are several requests and proposals that should be considered and discussed with the competent authorities (the Government of RNM and the Regulatory Commission for Energy), in order to find a common solution for an easier dealing with the challenges arising from the global energy crisis that is ahead in the coming years.
“Considering that all countries in Europe are taking measures due to the difficult and uncertain upcoming winter season, it is necessary for our country to make it a priority issue because we are an energy dependent country. It is necessary to increase domestic production, because all countries that have their own production have greater reliability, stability and a lower selling price,” MEA claims.
