I think the opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Ohrid is only a logical extension of the bilateral, friendly and good-neighborly relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia.
Those relations have reached the culminating stage of their development with the Open Balkans initiative, where the tendency to maintain not only good relations and strengthen them, but also to create conditions for deepening cooperation in various areas, is being continued, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković pointed out at the official opening of the Consulate.
