This morning, the extinguishing of the fire at the construction debris dump Ralova Chuka in the village of Ochipala in Delchevo continues.
At the moment, the inner part of the landfill is still burning, after Delchevo firefighters made a belt on the outer part yesterday, which prevented further spread of the fire.
“The biggest problem is the interior of the landfill, which is on fire in several places, because even though we extinguished it last night, due to the easily flammable substances from the construction debris, it flares up again,” says TPPE Delchevo.
