Macedonian national winger Dejan Manaskov has returned to two-time European handball champion RK Vardar after six years to fill the vacant position in the team after the departure of Timur Dibirov to PPD Zagreb.
The handball player played abroad for Wetzlar and Rhine Neckar Leuven, before joining Hungarian champions Veszprém KC.
Manaskov, after signing with HC Vardar 1961, addressed the fans of the red and blacks with the announcement that together they should return the most trophy-winning club to its rightful place, after Vardar had to take a different direction due to the ban from the Champions League and to waive previously agreed upon reinforcements.
The Macedonian representative in his first term as a handball player of the HC Vardar was not well received by the fans of the handball team, who could not forget accept him as a former handball player of Metalurg, so Manaskov spent only one season in the red and black jersey in 2015/16.
