The Association of Public Prosecutors of the Republic of North Macedonia strongly reacts to the open letter from the Public Prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska sent Wednesday evening through the media to foreign embassies and international organizations.
As a professional association, it is indicated in today’s reaction from the Association of Public Prosecutors, we forwarded the letter with astonishment, which we believe damages the reputation of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and grossly violates the Code of Ethics of public prosecutors.
“As public prosecutors, we do not see any reason for such a dramatic midnight call to international institutions and diplomats, especially since neither Prosecutor Ruskovska, nor the other prosecutors from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption were at any time prevented from independently conduct investigations for cases under their authority,” underlines the Association.
