Epidemiologist Dragan Danilovski said in an interview with TV24 that no new restrictive measures are needed despite the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the past few weeks.
According to Danilovski’s expectations, the number of infected people will decrease significantly as of September.
“Restrictive measures are not necessary, it is only necessary to continue the existing measures, for wearing masks in closed spaces, this should especially apply to the vulnerable categories. The new strain of COVID-19 will fill the statistics until it burns out. The peak will occur in the next seven days, and as of September, the numbers are expected to subside,” said Danilovski.
