Tetovo modular hospital fire case enters the courtroom

Almost a year after the tragedy in Tetovo, the case of the modular hospital fire is entering the courtroom, reports 4NEWS.mk. During the day, the case should receive its own number, and through the AKMIS system, it should be allocated to a specific judge.

The accused for the fire in the modular COVID-19 hospital in Tetovo are the former director of the Tetovo hospital, Florin Besimi, the head of the hospital and the doctor on duty. 14 people died in the fire in the modular hospital on September 8, 2021. There is also an accusation against the General Hospital – Tetovo.

Besimi and the manager are accused of having committed a crime of serious crimes against public security, and the doctor of not acting according to health regulations during an epidemic. The Tetovo Hospital is being prosecuted for both crimes.
