The African swine fever situation is becoming more dramatic. From day to day, the disease is galloping in the interior of the country, threatening the hundreds of millions of euros invested in the pig sector, noted Cvetan Tripunovski, chair of the VMRO-DPMNE Commission for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
“Due to the fact that the Government does not know how to deal with this, it is not able to propose measures, we as VMRO-DPMNE ask the government to make a decision in the shortest possible time to declare a state of crisis due to an epidemic of the infectious disease African swine fever due to the incompetence of the director and management of the Food and Veterinary Agency,” said Tripunovski.
