The leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski said in a Facebook post that because of the anti-Macedonian government, business in Macedonia pays up to twice the price for electricity than business in the region.
“The anti-Macedonian government, through the occupied institutions, betrayed the economy, the business and directly the citizens in Macedonia. Instead of a plan, support and strategy to help the economy and business, they offered a new energy crisis so that they can influence which companies, open overnight, will purchase coal, fuel oil and electricity. Instead of helping the economy and business, they continued to steal in conditions when it was never more difficult,” the opposition leader noted.
Mickoski accuses the Government of not telling the truth and not supporting the businesses, and refers to the EUROSTAT data for the second half of 2021 and the prices paid by the business for electricity.
