The second day of the protest of the Association of Private Doctors is underway. The head of the association, Dr. Lilija Cholakova-Dervishova, said in a statement for MIA that they have not yet been contacted by the Ministry of Health or the Health Insurance Fund.
“We will endure for three days what we have made as a decision, in the interest of improving the status, restoring the dignity of healthcare workers, keeping the youth in the country. The demands are these, and the priority is to increase the capitation point, should a decision be made at the level of the Government, at the Ministry of Finance, because really with all these prices and the price increase, for five years everything is constantly moving, but here nothing moves,” says Dr. Cholakova-Dervishova.
