The Macedonian economy is sinking because of the government’s bad energy policy. The industry is left at the mercy and pays 500 percent more expensive electricity than last year. In comparison with the companies in the surrounding country, the Macedonian citizens pay the most expensive electricity and thus lose their competitiveness.
The Government, instead of selling the surpluses of the Albanian company at a bargain price through murky deals, can offer them on the domestic market and thus help the domestic economy, reads the VMRO-DPMNE party press release on Saturday.
