At the Session on Councilor Issues in the City of Skopje on Thursday, Councilor Luke Galevski asked Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska several questions regarding the current developments with the tender for a sewage treatment plant in Skopje.
But instead of answering the advisor’s questions, Arsovska started giving political speeches from the pulpit in the Skopje City Council, as if she were a party leader at a rally. While she was speaking, she was visibly annoyed and hysterically attacked Hristijan Mickoski, even though he is not involved in any way in relation to what is of great interest to the citizens of the city of Skopje, i.e. the disputed matters surrounding the tender for a sewage treatment plant. Arsovska, apparently, in order not to answer who is the person Arkan Kerim, who was mentioned by Galevski from the podium, as an alleged representative of the Turkish consortium for which the media close to the mayor of Skopje announced before the opening of the offers in the tender that he had given a 20 million euro lower offer, began clearly to insult Mickoski. For the same Turkish consortium, part of the media reported that it was favored by Arsovska, and in order to achieve her goal, she dismissed the director of PE “Vodovod i Kanalizacija (PE Water & Sewerage)” on the pretext of some alleged self-willingness and stubbornness on his part.
