The screening will speed up the reforms, we have a basis to progress, says Marichikj

The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European affairs and chief negotiator, Bojan Marichikj, in the opening address of the first screening meeting, expressed his satisfaction with the official start of the practical part of the accession negotiations, after the Intergovernmental Conference with the European Union held in July of this year.
Negotiations make and transform the country for the better. After 17 years of waiting, we have a historic chance to ensure a European future for the citizens and Macedonia, said Deputy Prime Minister Marichikj, adding that with the start of the screening, we go deeper into the process of reforms, which include the implementation of European regulations and contribute to the Europeanization of society and the European functioning of the state.
