An overhaul of Block at REC Bitola 1 is underway, which is scheduled to be completed by October 15, AD ESM informed on Tuesday.
”Due to the energy crisis in the country and Europe, the overhauls of the blocks in REK Bitola this year will be performed in less than 30 days, instead of the usual 45 or more. The focus is on the most vital parts of the plants, which after the technical-technological refresh should ensure the stability of the production,” reads the press release.
AD ESM indicates that the same activities will follow on Block 2. In the meantime, the transformer for Block 3 is expected to arrive, after which REK Bitola, as stated, would continue working at full capacity.
