We must distinguish two moments here. The first is how wages rise. We know that inflation is at a much higher level than how wages are growing and, on the other hand, what are our wages and what can we buy with them, said the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska in an interview with TV Alfa.

“It is in the sense that our government is used to survive the month only for food and to pay other utilities, or as in other countries with which we try to compare ourselves, and we are incomparable, which in addition to the salary they have a part can to spend on other things, to sit in cafes, to buy furniture, etc.” said Dimitrieska-Kochoska.

The opposition official pointed out that the inflation rate for food and non-alcoholic beverages is 25.1 percent, or only for food is 25.9 percent, or just for the month of August, bread grew by 44.1 percent.

Dimitrieska-Kochoska stressed that this Government has no feeling for citizens and businesses, that’s why we have these situations.

“Retail trade fell 3 percent in August compared to August last year, or retail trade in food and beverages was down 4.4 percent. This means that we can already feel the moment when people start to really save on food at home,” said Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
