At the Embassy of Japan in the country on Thursday, the Japan’s Ambassador to Skopje Hironori Sawada and the director of the University Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery Danica Popović Monevska signed a grant agreement worth 38,185 euros, which will procure an interoperative neuromonitoring system that will provide more accurate and safer health services for patients during face, jaw and neck surgery.
“Patients will no longer be exposed to the risk of nerve injury and facial dysfunction, nor will they be forced to seek help from abroad,” noted Ambassador Sawada, after signing the grant agreement.
