- Starting October 15, there will be thermal energy for all consumers in the city of Skopje, regardless of whether the cogeneration power plant TE-TO will work or not, Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi said Monday.
“If the TPP does not work in the area of electricity production, the by-product of which provides 60 to 70 percent of the heat energy production for the city of Skopje, the East and West heating plants will cover the entire consumption in the area of heat energy with the purchase of gas. it is in the city of Skopje. If the thermal power plants East and West are working,” Bekteshi said in response to a media question after the official commissioning of the GENI solar power plant with a capacity of 17 megawatts located in Amzabegovo near Sveti Nikole.
