Ministry of Education owes JSP EUR 2 million for free transportation of students, protest in front of the Government scheduled for Wednesday

The public transport company Skopje (JSP) appeals and requests the Government, the municipalities and all debtors to the company to pay their obligations as soon as possible in order to enable its normal functioning.

“Currently, the Government, that is, the Ministry of Education, has a debt to JSP of 120 million denars or about 2 million euros for the free transportation of pupils and students. In addition, several Skopje municipalities owe the company about 40 million denars, JSP secretary Zoran Gligorov pointed out at a press conference on Tuesday.
