The average paid net salary per employee, in August 2022, amounted to 31,871 denars and is 11.3 percent higher than the same month last year, according to the State Statistics Office.
The increase is due, above all, to the increase in the average salary in the following sectors: Manufacturing industry (16.2 %), Accommodation facilities and food service activities (16.1 %) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (15.6 %).
An increase in the average monthly paid net salary per employee, compared to the previous month, was observed in the sectors: Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (4.1%), Water supply; waste water disposal, waste management and environmental remediation activities (3.8 %) and Mining and quarrying (3.1 %).
