Despite the announcements that the end of the daylight saving time may be delayed due to energy savings, the Government still decided to set the clocks back one hour on Sunday, October 30th.

Daylight saving time in 2022 ends on Sunday, October 30 at 3 a.m., so by moving clocks back one hour, the time at 3 a.m. goes back to 2 a.m.

Up until the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic, there were several discussions about abolishing the changing of time, and four years ago the EU was very close to it. It was soon voted that it should be, and EU member states were given until April 2020 to make their case. However, as a pandemic was declared in March, fighting the virus became a priority, while daylight saving time remained on the sidelines.
