MP and member of the VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee Dragan Kovachki in a Facebook post on Wednesday called on the Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska to apply the Law on Service in the Armed Forces, which was voted by the MPs in Parliament, and to raise the salaries of the professional soldiers in the country.
“We call on the Minister of Defense to consistently implement the amendments to the Law on Service in the Armed Forces that we passed in the Parliament and not to try to manipulate the employees in the salary section. Here are some examples of the salary calculation in the Armed Forces according to the changes that came into force and according to which from the month of November employees are entitled to a salary increase according to the following: – professional soldier – about 7,000 denars, non-commissioned officer rank of sergeant – about 9,000 denars, – officer rank lieutenant colonel – about 9,000 denars, and the same applies to other ranks,” Kovachki said on Wednesday.
