Angelovska-Bezhoska and Ambassador Ullman sign Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen macroeconomic planning

The strengthening of the capacities and the improvement of the tools for macroeconomic analysis and projecting in the National Bank will be achieved through cooperation and exchange of experiences with the expert team of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

Governor of the Macedonian National Bank, Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska, and the Ambassador of Switzerland to the country, Veronique Ulman, on behalf of SECO, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation Thursday evening, which foresees more activities in the field of designing and coordinating the macroeconomic policy, through the implementation of the Project for macroeconomic planning and management. Ambassador Ulman expressed her support for the deepening of cooperation with the central bank and stressed that the National Bank is and will be an example of a credible and independent institution in the country.
