The salaries in the 2023 Budget are defined according to the possibilities, the increases in the sectors made this year are calculated, and there will be no reduction in any of the workers’ rights, says the Macedonian Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi.
“If the average wage next year gives an average ten percent increase, it means that from March the minimum wage will increase by ten percent. And the civil servants, where the minimum salary is entered as the basis, will have a linear salary increase,” Minister Besimi said in an interview with TV 24.
According to Besimi, no new taxes are projected, but it is possible that part of the tax exemptions will be stopped.
