- The meeting of Prime Minister and SDSM leader Dimitar Kovachevski with the leaders of the other political parties is underway in the Parliament, where the EU path of the country should be discussed, as well as the decisions that should be made in the future with a broad political and social consensus. Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi is also attending the meeting.
The meeting is attended by the leaders of DUI Ali Ahmeti, DOM’s Maja Morachanin, VMRO-DPMNE’s Hristijan Mickoski, Alternativa’s Afrim Gashi, Democratic Union’s Pavle Trajanov, DPA’s Menduh Thaci, Alliance of Albanians’s Arben Taravari, VMRO-NP’s Ljupcho Balkovski , of the Democratic Party of the Serbs in Macedonia Ivan Stoiljkovikj, of NSDP’s Goran Misovski, of GROM’s Stevche Jakimovski, the leader of the Socialist Party Ljupcho Dimovski, the leader of the LDP Monika Zajkova, of the Party of Pensioners Ilija Nikolovski, etc. The leaders of Levica Dimitar Apasiev and of Besa Bilal Kasami failed to attend the leaders’ meeting.
Prime Minister Kovachevski said on Saturday that he convened the leadership meeting in order for all political parties represented in the Parliament to discuss the European future of the country and all decisions that should be made in a broad, social and political consensus.
