Block 1 of REK Bitola was disconnected from the electricity system Thursdaynight around midnight.
The ESM informs that it is a planned shutdown for the purpose of rehabilitation of the condenser and part of the pipeline system in the plant.
All steps have been taken in order for the intervention to be short and efficient and for the block to be online again on Monday. The shutdown of the block is planned during the weekend due to the usually reduced consumption of electricity during this period of the week, according to the announcement.
The electricity from Block 1 of REK Bitola, AD ESM will be compensated by increasing the production in the rest of its plants, as well as with the purchase of electricity for which the company has already concluded an agreement until November 20.
