State institutions reduced electricity consumption by 24 percent in October

The trend of reducing electricity consumption at state institutions continues in October. According to the data of Elektrodistribuća on the saving of electricity, it follows that the administrative buildings of the President, the Parliament, the Government, the ministries, AD ESM, AD MEPSO have achieved a reduced consumption of an average of 29 percent, which is more compared to the total saving of 20 percent achieved in September, informed the Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi.

“All institutions in October have at least a 15 percent reduction in electricity consumption, which is in accordance with the Government’s recommendations. The Ministry of Health has the smallest savings, 18 percent, and the Ministry of Education has the largest savings, up to 58 percent. The government’s electricity savings is 32 percent,” Bekteshi said.
