The prices of the services of the Real Estate Cadastre Agency (AKN) have increased by 25 to 30 percent on average with the entry into force of the new tariffs. The reason for the increase in price is the sublimation of services from five tariff rates to two, as well as the increased costs for electricity and for the maintenance of the cadastral ICT systems, the AKN director Boris Tundjev informed at a press conference on Tuesday.
He rejected as incorrect the claims of the president of the Chamber of Geodetic Societies, Nikola Ribarovski, about “enormous growth in the prices of cadastral services” and pointed out that there was an increase for certain products, for certain reductions, while some remained at the same level.
“With the new tariff model, the individual prices of data from the geodetic-cadastral information system and the fee for registration in the Real Estate Cadastre have not increased enormously. On the contrary, these are prices that are at the level of the actual costs incurred for the normal functioning and maintenance of electronic systems, which are of exceptional importance,” said Tundjev.
