At today’s session, the Constitutional Court decided not to initiate proceedings for the case in which the work on Sunday was challenged, the spokesperson of the Constitutional Court Hristina Belovska told a press conference on Thursday.

That, as the spokesperson explained, means that the law remains in the legal order, which governs the right of workers not to work on Sundays, except in the activities that are exceptions, and of course are provided for by the current legal solution.

“For the Constitutional Court, the allegations of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, which is the submitter of this initiative and which requested to stop the execution of this Law, are unfounded. This decision is final and everyone must respect it,” Belovska pointed out.
