Macedonia celebrates St. Clement of Ohrid

On December 8 the country marks the Day of St. Clement of Ohrid. In front of the monument of St. Clement of Ohridin front of the National University Library in Skopje, a parliamentary and government delegation will lay flowers, and the state award “St. Clement of Ohrid”.

St. Clement of Ohrid is also the patron of Ohrid, where the celebrations began the day before yesterday. The celebrations continue today with a bow before the relics of Saint Clement ofOhrid in the monastery “Saints Clement and Panteleimon” in Plaoshnik.

Today is declared a non-working day for all citizens in the country.
